Vivo X300 FE Launch: Vivo has quietly expanded its X300 series lineup with the introduction of the Vivo X300 FE. The smartphone was recently spotted in reports suggesting an upcoming launch, but it has already been officially introduced in Russia. Positioned as a compact flagship device, the X300 FE combines high-end performance with a smaller and more comfortable form factor.
The device joins the previously announced Vivo X300 and Vivo X300 Pro models, offering users another option in the premium segment while maintaining a compact design that is becoming increasingly rare among flagship smartphones.
Compact AMOLED Display with High Brightness
The Vivo X300 FE features a 6.31-inch AMOLED display that delivers a resolution of 2640 × 1216 pixels. Despite its smaller size, the display is designed to offer a flagship-level viewing experience with sharp visuals and vibrant colors.
The panel supports an adaptive refresh rate ranging from 1Hz to 120Hz. This technology allows the screen to adjust its refresh rate based on the content being viewed, helping improve battery efficiency while maintaining smooth animations and scrolling.
Another highlight of the display is its impressive local peak brightness of up to 5000 nits, which improves visibility when using the phone outdoors under bright sunlight.
Software and Long-Term Updates
The smartphone runs on OriginOS 6 based on Android 16, offering a modern interface along with several customization features. Vivo has also committed to long-term support for the device.
According to the company, the Vivo X300 FE will receive up to five years of Android version updates along with seven years of security patches. This extended software support ensures that the device will remain secure and updated for a longer period compared to many smartphones in its category.
Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 Performance
Powering the Vivo X300 FE is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor. The flagship chipset is designed to deliver strong performance across gaming, multitasking, and demanding applications.
The device is paired with LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and UFS 4.1 storage, ensuring faster data access and improved efficiency. Vivo offers the smartphone in configurations starting with 12GB of RAM and storage options reaching up to 512GB.
This combination allows the phone to handle intensive tasks smoothly while maintaining responsive performance in everyday use.
Triple Camera System for Versatile Photography
On the camera side, the Vivo X300 FE includes a triple rear camera setup designed for different photography scenarios.
The primary camera uses a 50-megapixel Sony IMX921 sensor, which captures detailed images with improved dynamic range. It is supported by a 50-megapixel telephoto camera using the Sony IMX882 sensor that provides 3x optical zoom for capturing distant subjects without losing clarity.
An additional 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera is included for landscape shots and group photos. This combination allows users to switch between different focal lengths depending on the scene.
For selfies and video calls, the device features a 50-megapixel front camera capable of producing high-resolution images and clear video quality.

The Vivo X300 FE is available in three color options: Moonlight White, Cool Purple, and Graphite Black. In Russia, the smartphone is offered in a single configuration with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
The device is priced at around RUB 60,124, which is approximately $770. Vivo has not yet officially confirmed whether additional configurations will be introduced in other markets.
Reports also suggest that the X300 FE may be closely related to the Vivo S50 Pro Mini that was introduced in China in December 2025, indicating that the two devices share similar hardware and design elements.
